Ashley is formally trained in a variety of modalities including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Techniques, Mindfulness, Equine Assisted Therapy, Resilience Focused Therapeutic Practices, Solution Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Animal Assisted Interventions and is currently working towards her certification in Complex Trauma and Dissociation. Through an evidence based lens Ashley works to integrate modalities, discuss other holistic supports, and develop specialized work to suit your unique challenges and interests as an individual in this world.
Ashley has a friendly furry companion named Piper who occasionally makes an appearance in session to support some of the work, although Piper is now only working part-time due to her napping demands.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending her time with family and friends and can usually be found somewhere on a mountain trail, swimming with Piper in the lake, or anywhere outdoors

Emilie Morin-Yaremchuk
Supports children ages 4-15, as well as perinatal moms and moms who need support with motherhood.
Emilie offers in-person sessions in Sherwood Park and virtual sessions with 12+ across Alberta.

Currently not taking high conflict divorce families.
Emilie is a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA). She is also a Certified Play Therapist (CPT) with the Canadian Association for Play Therapy (CAPT). For nearly two decades, she has been working with children of all ages in different capacities and believes in the power of play to help support children navigating various areas of difficulty. She knows that supporting children means supporting parents and families in making changes and strives to bridge the gap in communication. She has experience working in multiple school districts and understands the dynamic and importance of supporting at home and school. She has also had experience completing psychoeducation assessments with school-aged children, though this is not a service she is presently offering. She has experience supporting children with ADHD, anxiety, fears, grief and loss, parental separation/divorce, emotional regulation, anger, relationships, self-esteem building, difficulties in the classroom and more.
Since having her own children, she has developed a passion for working with perinatal moms, supporting them with anxiety, depression, and the joys and difficulties of motherhood. She has a grounded understanding of how hard it can be becoming a mom and having your own challenges with mental health while trying to take care of your newborn baby and children. She can also appreciate the difficulty in navigating relationships with your partner or other children during the transitions of motherhood and all that comes with the mental load and identity shifts. Emilie would be honoured to help in all things related to motherhood. Emilie often works from an integrative approach to therapy using directed and non-directed play therapy, cognitive behavioural approaches, attachment theory, client-centered approaches, solution-focused approaches, mindfulness, sandtray, and art. She also integrates sensorimotor psychotherapy, and polyvagal theory into her work, as her belief is in a holistic brain-body approach to therapy.
Emilie’s goal is to provide a safe and comfortable space for children, parents and moms and to provide a caring, honest, collaborative and non-judgemental relationship. She wants her clients to feel heard and validated in their experiences. At times, she will gently challenge clients to see things from a different perspective and to help build their confidence to grow. Emilie is always trying to expand her knowledge to help support in different therapeutic capacities and attends trainings, workshops and finds new resources to explore when possible.
Services with Emilie are offered in both English and French.
Outside of the office, you will often find her with her three kids, husband or other family and friends. Emilie loves being outside in the sunshine and being in nature. She loves to learn, read, colour, and enjoys thrifting new items for the playroom.
